The Village of Sunbury will be accepting applications for the position of Full Time Receptionist / Administrative Secretary assigned to the Police Department. The qualified applicant needs to have a working knowledge of performing a wide range of clerical, technical and support activities such as preparing and composing correspondence/reports/statements and other documents, answering telephones, providing customer assistance, arranging meetings, scheduling appointments, processing mail and assisting in the administration of the standard operating policies and procedures of the Sunbury Police Department and Village of Sunbury.
In addition, may be required to attend an evening or weekend Village meeting or community event to assist other Village personnel with clerical matters, coordinates court subpoenas and scheduling, ensures compliance with the Village’s record retention schedule.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent certificate, effective communications skills;
Compensation Range: $10.00 - $16.55/ hr. with excellent benefits (starting range negotiable)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, eight (8) hours per day, forty (40) hours per week, excellent benefits.
